Wind power here we come! You wouldn't believe the number of wind
turbines scattered across the plains. There are literally thousands.
American ingenuity at it's best!

Got snake?

West Texas Rig

Stopped and went through a cotton field. Grabbed this shot of an oil
rig. I like taking the sepia-type pictures. Skip

Goodnite from Lubbock

Just cooked some steaks on the outside fire pit. Having some vino on
the last nite of the trip. Not many pics today, as that trip from
Santa Fe thru the pandhandle is flat flat. Hopefully some good pics
on drive in tommorrow. About an 8 hour drive home to Austin.

Texas!

About another hour or two to get to Lubbock. Then will call it a day
of driving.

Billy the Kid gravesite

Drove thru town of Fort Summer, NM. Gravesite of Billy the Kid. Had
site barred up so people won't steal headstone. Happened a few times.

Windmill in New Mexico

On drive towards Texas. Stopped alongside road to eat lunch. Old
windmill in field.

Lonely Indian man

Man in Santa Fe. Had disappointing sales of his jewelry on street.
Now homeless.
