Video of Blue Striped Snapper
Getting a few underwater videos in from dive trip. Mark took this one of a school of Blue Striped Yellow Snapper. Awesome to see hundreds all swimming in sync fascinated by us. If you listen carefully, you can hear the grey whales mating call in the distance.

Rainbow over Maui
A weather system started to come in which changed our copter ride to west end of island and Molokai. Nice rainbow over the ocean. Lots of wind surfers tearing it up !
Sunset at beach
Last stop was at a beach in Wailea. Stayed for about 2 hours and watched this beautiful sunset. The island you see in the distance is one of the islands we scuba dived. Will post some amazing underwater shots when we return early next week!
Was a great day to spend the first day of 2011! Why cant we live like this??
Happy New Years day!

Pic at Haleakala Peak
Made it to the top (via car!) of the crater. Elevation about 10,000 feet. Lots of lava rocks and a big crater. Like a moon shot in a movie. Could see neighboring islands in the distance. Will see this and more Sunday via our helicopter tour of this and the waterfalls at Hana.
Clouds of Maui
We drove the switchback roads on way to see Heleakala volcano. Halfway at about 5000 feet, we past the clouds. You can see part of Iao Valley peak in the distance. That zone in the clouds became cooler and foggy.
Iao valley
We went with Greg and Ted today on an excursion tour of the island. This is a pic of Iao Valley, on the West island of Maui. Full of tropical plants and a creek with some rapids. Very scenic.
